The JayCW 5K Run and Walk... at just over three miles, it's a great way to kickoff, maintain or build upon a commitment to health and fitness on the morning of the JayCW Memorial Picnic.
Enjoy forested paths and gentle slopes on this tour of Delta Lake State Park... or cheer on our runners and walkers.. or take an opportunity to help us conduct the event... or just take in the morning over a cup of coffee and see what it's all about!
Participants of most ages and activity levels are welcome... please consult your doctor about planning a 5K (3.1 mile) continuous walk, and read the registration terms carefully before choosing to participate. We need you to cross the finish line feeling comfortable, safe, and proud!

The 2019 JayCW 5K Run and Walk is organized and coordinated by Susan Dennis.
Thank you, Susan, for taking on the challenge and keeping the 5K on pace for another great turnout! A Message From Carrie Pallas, Race FounderFor me personally, running has been a great source of self-care over the past years and I believe physical activity helps us all on our path to wellness.
As a family friend, this organization holds a special place in my heart always. Jay’s strength and passion for life live on through this fund and have touched my family’s life personally over this past year. Organizing this race brings me great comfort knowing that the funds raised will support those who are needing some support and strength just as Jay would have provided if he were here. Thank you to our 5K sponsors |
